We are once again offering our very popular enrichment SSF Sailfast Camp.

Overview

The camp is designed to give Optimist Gold Fleet sailors quality sailing, supported by specialized coaching during the June school holidays. The clinic will be led by our two high performance Optimist coaches (Coach Edward and Coach Sommai), with a proven ability to prepare and inspire young sailors. We aims to impart more technical knowledge which will contribute to improved speeds and techniques.

The Objectives

We all know sailing at a high performance level doesn’t just come from many hours on the water. This program’s goal is to help to fine tune what the sailors have learned, with more details to give you the extra edge in their races; all under the watchful eye of our coaches. It will be everything they need to be a smarter and faster Optimist sailor!

In this SailFast Camp the main focus will be:

• Fundamentals of optimist sailing
• Optimal boat and sail tuning
• Boat Speed and Handling
• Racing processes and strategy

The program will run daily from 1230 – 1830hr

The registration fee is S$800 NETT per pax

Max entry is 20 pax. First come, first serve !

Sailors must be part of the Singapore Optimist Gold & Silver Fleet as of 26 May 2023 in order to participate.
