The National Race Official Course is organized and run by Singapore Sailing Federation approved Instructors. There is an exam associated with the Course and the passing mark for the examination is set at 70%.  Preparation for the Course includes being familiar with World Sailing Race Management Guide.

Candidates attending this course must be at least a Club Race Officer, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Existing National Race Officers are encouraged to attend as a refresher.

Participants may choose either options as payment for the course:
Option 1) Full payment of $150
Option 2) Pro-bono duties to officiate SSF events for 4 days
(Certificate will be issued upon completion)

Fees are inclusive of Lunch & Tea breaks

• Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Powered Pleasure Craft Driving License (not compulsory)
• Valid Standard First Aid + AED Certification
• Prior experience(s) as an official in regattas
