Our National Sailing Centre is open, welcoming everyone to gain experience and have fun sailing.
As a sailor, we expect you to be responsible for yourself, equipment, environment and those around you. Demonstrate safe practises, ensure equipment & storage cleanliness, sparingly use water for washing boats and preserve all other privileges provided by Singapore Sailing Centre.
By observing, understanding and adhering to the terms and conditions as well as the rules and regulations stipulated in this document, serving to National Sailing Centre.

Terms and Conditions

Metal Equipment Storage Rental

• All lockers are the property of Singapore Sailing Federation (SSF).
• Prohibited Items:
  • Sailors are advised not to place any valuable items inside their lockers and shall be personally responsible for the items they place inside or outside their lockers.
  • Flammable materials, dangerous chemicals, explosives or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited inside the lockers.
  • Perishable items, illegal or controlled items and substances such as drugs or alcohol are also strictly prohibited inside the lockers.
  • During the rental period, SSF reserves the right to open a locker without the consent of the registered user in instances where “ Metal Equipment Storage Rental Terms and Conditions” are being abused or in the case of an emergency situation as perceived by SSF and/or the authorities.
• All new applications for storage area fees will be charged based on the prorated month from the date and time of application submitted the registration at the Front Office. 
  • To fill up new application form
  • Payment to be made on the day of locker key collection.
    *(payment can be made via pay now, credit card (VISA or Master), Cash (to be exact amount) or Nets Transaction)*
• Proration procedure during the month:
  • 1st to 15th of the month to be charged full of 1 month
  • 16th and thereof will be prorated by half a month only
    
• Renewal of Metal Equipment Storage:
  • Payment must be made 2 months in advance, before the start of each term.
    (Example: For Term 1, starting in 1 January 2021, payment should be made before 1 November 2020).
• All metal storage cabinet lockers are subjected to availability and review by Singapore Sailing Federation. However, if there is no locker available at the time of request, name and contact details will be taken down by the Front Office for the purpose of being listed onto the waiting list.
  
• Priority will be given to sailors training under the Singapore Sailing Federation.
  
• Metal Cabinet Locker will be issued according to the waiting list. The respective person will be informed via email or call on its availability of collection. Collection must be made within two (2) weeks from the time of notice. If collection is not done within the period given, Singapore Sailing Federation reserves the right to release the metal cabinet locker to the next sailor on the waiting list.
  
• Strictly NO extension will be granted for the collection of locker keys.
  
• Unauthorised use of any locker is prohibited. A locker, once found to be illegally occupied shall be cleared by SSF without prior notification and the contents disposed as SSF has no means to trace its rightful owner. A locker breaking fee may be charged accordingly.
• Upon assignment and during use, students are responsible for reporting any damage or needed repairs to the vendor at info@singaporesailing.org.sg.
• Sailors will be solely responsible for the assigned metal equipment storage locker. If a sailor has caused any damage to the locker or has lost the locker key, he/she will be required to
  pay for the repair cost and/or replacement for loss of keys from the time of key collection until the period of termination. 
  • Replacement of lost or damaged locker keys will be chargeable at $15 (Include 7% GST).
• Termination of metal equipment locker, please refer to the following;
  • 1 (one) month advance notice to be email to info@singaporesailing.org.sg.
  • Storage locker to be cleared/emptied within the period of 1 (one) month from the noticed given by you.
  • Locker Keys must be returned to Front Office.
  • If the returned keys broken or missing, replacement fee of $15.00 (Include 7% GST) will be charged accordingly.

Rules and Regulations

Sailors are required to bring their locker keys at all times on their visit(s) or training at Singapore Sailing Federation (SSF). If a registered sailor(s) forget to bring his/her locker key, they may request it from the front office but do take note of the following before requesting the locker key shown below.

• Unregistered sailor(s) are NOT allowed to retrieve any locker key from the front office.
  • Retrieval of key at the front office, will be chargeable for:-

• • • First Time –  $5.00 per key (deposit).
      (refund will only be given upon returning of locker key on the very same day.  If keys are returned on the next following day, no refunds will be given back to the sailor(s).

• • • Second Time – $15 per key (deposit) and written notice will be given to the parents.
      (refund will only be given upon returning of locker key on the very same day. If keys are returned on the next following day, no refunds will be given back to the sailor(s).

• • • Final Offence – $15.00 per key and replacement of key will be chargeable and metal cabinet locker will be terminated. (these will be considered as infringement to the rules and regulations implemented by SSF) 

** Singapore Sailing Federation expects sailors to adhere, comply and practice the rules and regulations seriously. Thus, NO waiver of fees or chances will be granted as such.**

Singapore Sailing Federation will not be held responsible, claimed or liable for any loss of belongings or damages while the metal cabinet locker is in possession of the sailor.
Any damages fees incurred will be charged accordingly to the registered user of the metal equipment storage.

By accepting and registering or renewal of the metal equipment storage rental, you have agreed and understood on the terms and conditions as well as rules and regulations shown above.
