Coach Sommai is organizing an overseas training and regatta trip from 15th to 22nd October 2024. 14 Optimist Gold Fleet sailors will attend the Eastern Seaboard Regatta in Thailand.

The trip costs S$137 per sailor, covering Coach Sommai’s expenses. Sailors will manage their own travel costs, including flights, accommodation, transport, boat charters etc. Coach Sommai will focus on sailors’ development during training and the regatta. Outside these times, parents must supervise their children. Coach Sommai will contact registered participants with more details.

This trip aims to teach sailors wind and water reading, race strategy, pre-start routines, tactics, and teamwork. We believe it will greatly enhance their sailing skills.
