Opti Racer Weekend Training Program 2023

This course aims to train Optimist sailors to sail safely under minimum supervision and be able to participate in sailing regattas in a competent manner.

6. Sail tuning and race rigging
7. Boat handling skills
8. Racing tactics
9. Weather elements and racing strategy
10. Racing practices
11. Physical fitness

Pre-requisites: 
– Attained Opti Sailor
– Participants MUST have their own Type 3 Personal Floatation Device (PFD)

*Note:
Dates are subjected to changes. If training is canceled due to SSF scheduling, a make-up lesson will be arranged. However, a make-up lesson will not be arranged if the sailor misses his/her training session.
